Newspaper transcript – Official information has been receive by Mr and Mrs Walter Paterich, 66 Main Street, that their son, Private Walter Paterich, Lanarkshire Yeomanry, attached Scottish Rifles, was killed in action on January 20, 1917. He was 32 years of age and previous to enlisting was employed by Mr A. Taylor, butcher, Shettleston.
Newspaper transcript – Paterick. – In loving memory of Gunner W. Paterick, R.F.a., killed in action in France on 21st September, 1917; also, Private W. Paterick, 9th Scottish Rifles, killed in action in France on 20th January, 1917.
