Newspaper transcript – Corpl. A. H. Murray, Glasgow. Intimation has been received that Corporal Alex. Haig Murray, 30 years of age, was killed at Messines on June 7. He served for eight years in the Blythswood (7th) H.L.I., and was employed at Stewart and Lloyd’s previous to joining the army. He resided in Mitchell Street, Rutherglen.
