Newspaper transcript – Pte. A. Anderson, Rutherglen. Mrs Anderson, 44 Glasgow Road, Rutherglen, has been notified that her husband, Pte. Alexander Anderson, Seaforth Highlanders, died of wounds on May 6, 1918. Pte. Anderson was 42 years of age, and prior to enlisting was employed in Wm. Dixon’s colliery.
