Newspaper transcript – Mr and Mrs Robert Telford, Arouca, Melrose Avenue, Rutherglen, have received official information that their youngest son, Private William Danskin Telford, London Scottish, died in France on October 13 from wounds received on the same date. He was 23 years of age and previous to enlisting in August 1914, was on the staff of Parr’s Bank, Ltd., London.
