Official intimation has been received by Mrs Hood, 43 Sandyfaulds Street, S.S., that her husband, Private Angus Hood, Scottish Rifles, was killed in action on August 25, 1917. Pte. Hood, who was employed in the Globe Express Company, leaves a widow and one child.
