Newspaper transcript – Pte. A. Blue, Rutherglen. Mrs Macfarlane, 15 Mitchell Street, Rutherglen, has received intimation of the death of her brother, Pte. Alexander Blue, Northumberland Fusiliers, who was killed in action on May 3. He was 34 years of age, and employed by Mr David Lamb, Glasgow, as a mason before enlisting.
