Newspaper transcript – Mr and Mrs Quigg, 258 King Street, Rutherglen, have received official word that their son, Private Bernard Quigg, Royal Scots, who has been missing since September 26, 1915, has been killed. The deceased soldier worked in the Caledonian Pottery and enlisted in November 1914.
