Newspaper transcript – Mrs Hudson, 24 Greenhill Road, Rutherglen, has received official intimation that her husband, Private George Hudson, 1-7th H.L.I., had died of wounds received in the Dardanelles. He was employed at Messrs Dixon’s Colliery, Rutherglen, before joining the army.
