Newspaper transcript – L.-Corp. H. Johnston, Rutherglen. Official intimation has been received by Mr and Mrs Johnston, 161 Farmeloan Road, Rutherglen, that their youngest son, Lance-Corp. Harry Johnston, A. and S.H., was killed in action on May 13 last. He enlisted 12 years ago, and was serving with colours in India when war broke out.
