Newspaper transcript – Sapper H. McKay, Cambuslang. Mrs Keir, 17 Church Street, Cambuslang, has received intimation that her brother, Sapper Henry McKay, R.E., Australian Imperial Forces, died of wounds on October 27. Prior to emigrating to Australia five years ago he served an apprenticeship with Robert Bryson, painter, Rutherglen. He was 24 years of age.
