Newspaper transcript – Mrs Kerr, 7 Polmadie Street, Glasgow, has been informed of the death of her husband, Sapper Hugh Kerr, 2nd Low, Field Coy. Royal Engineers, who was killed in action at the Dardanelles on May 22. He was 25 years of age, and was employed in Barclay, Curle’s Shipyard, Scotstoun. He leaves a widow and two children.
