Newspaper transcript –Ā Private J. Cairns, Glasgow. Official word has been received by Mr and Mrs Cairns, 10 Millcroft Cottages, Oatlands, Glasgow, that their son, Pte.Ā James Cairns,Ā Seaforth, died of wounds on April 25. He was 23 years of age, and was formerly employed with Dixon’s Ltd.
