Newspaper transcript – Pte. J. McCafferty, Rutherglen. Mrs. McCafferty, 12 Mitchell Street, has received intimation that her husband, Private James McCaffety, A. and S.H., was killed on March 22nd. He was 41 years of age, and was a miner in Farme Colliery, Rutherglen. He leaves a widow and family of five.
