Newspaper transcript – Cpl. J. F. Buchanan, Glasgow. Mr and Mrs Buchanan, 38 Greenhill Road, Glasgow, have been informed that their son, Corporal John F. Buchanan, R.E., was killed in action on January 3. He was 23 years of age, and before enlisting was employed by Mr Bryson, painter, Rutherglen.
