Newspaper transcript – Mr John Ferguson, 157 Farmeloan Road, Rutherglen, has receive official ? that his youngest son, Private John Ferguson, Royal Marines, went down with the Queen Mary. Before enlisting he was employed at Allan Whyte and Co’s Ropeworks, Rutherglen. he was 19 years of age.
