Newspaper transcript – Pte. J. K. Gardiner, Glasgow. Mrs Gardiner, 10 Hamilton Road, Rutherglen, has received intimation that her husband, Pte. J. K. Gardiner, Seafortsh, died of wounds on September 22, 1917. He was 28 years of age and before enlisting was employed with Mr Roy, butcher, High Street, Glasgow.
