Newspaper transcript – Mr George Lockhart, 33 Miller Terrace, has received official notice that his son, Private John Lockhart, Cameron Highlanders, who was notified wounded and missing last November, was killed in action in September, 1915, at Loos. Before the war Private Lockhart was employed as an engineer in the Rivet, Bolt, and Nut Company, Rutherglen.
