Newspaper transcript – Mr and Mrs P Murray, 6 Mitchell Street, Rutherglen, have received official notice that their son, Private Patrick Murray, H.L.I., previously reported missing on July 15, 1916, was killed in action on that date. He was 21 years of age, and prior to enlistment was employed in the British Hydraulic Foundry, Whiteinch.
