Newspaper transcript – Rutherglen. – Private Robert Love, 1st Gordon Highlanders, who belongs to Rockland, Rutherglen, has been missing since 14th December last. He took part in a gallant charge by his regiment on that day, and the worst is feared. He is 28 years of age, and joined the colours last September.

Also commemorated on the memorial at Stonelaw High School, Rutherglen and Rutherglen Old Parish Church.
