Newspaper transcript – Mr Martin Horan, 22 Montgomery Street, Glasgow, has received official word that his son, Private Martin Horan, 1st Cameron Highlanders, who was reported missing in November 11, 1914 has now been officially ? having been killed that day. Private Horan was 23 years of age, and had served two and a half years in the army before war broke out.
